The ERGOS *0 treatment units are designed for use in the ENT consulting room. They can be supplied as mobile units or for installation as a fixture. Furniture modules are available for installation in combination with the ERGOS *0. When furniture modules or an integrated microscope are ordered with the ERGOS *0, the set up cannot be mobile on castors. The same applies to the SECRET-O-MAT secretion discharge system. The ERGOS *0 can accommodate up to three light sources for rigid telescopes, naso larygo pharyngo scopes and a fibre optic headlight. The ERGOS *0 is available with an either a Marlan or Thermopal worktop. It has been designed for low maintenance and incorporates infrared sensors in the handpiece holders instead of mechanical micro-switches to reduce wear and tear. Moreover the technical components are installed on a mobile frame so that these can be conveniently removed from the ERGOS *0 for easy access during servicing and maintenance.
